The Hegar gynecological dilator set / set includes 17 pieces of Hegar endocervical dilators, designed for gradual dilation of the endocervical canal in procedures such as uterine diagnosis, curettage or operative treatments.

Gynecological dilators come in a variety of sizes, with diameters ranging from 4 to 12 mm. Each gynecological dilator has a flat end for a comfortable grip and a pointed tip for easy insertion.

Instructions for safe handling, inspection and storage:

Inspection: Before use, after decontamination and before sterilization, carefully inspect the instrument for cracks, scratches or damage.

Storage: Store tools in a dry, clean and protected place.

Disinfection and Sterilization: Before first use and after each use, instruments must be thoroughly cleaned and sterilized by a fully validated process.

Sterilization procedure:

Follow EN 285 and EN 554 standards for steam sterilization.

Minimum process parameters: 5 minutes at 134°C and 2 bar pressure.
