Endocervical sampling brush, NON-STERILE, Rumbrush type - 100 pcs. /package/
A non-sterile smear brush, also
known as a Rumbrush, is a medical device used for obtaining samples of cells or
tissues for microscopic examination. It is a small, brush-like device with
fine, soft bristles that are used to gently collect cells from a surface. The
collected cells are then transferred to a slide for staining and examination
under a microscope. Rumbrushes are commonly used in gynecological procedures to
obtain cervical cell samples for Pap tests, or to obtain samples from the
urinary tract for microbiological culture. They can also be used for other
types of diagnostic procedures, such as obtaining skin or mucosal samples.
Non-sterile brushes should only be used in situations where a sterile sample is
not required, such as in a diagnostic procedure where contamination will not
affect the accuracy of the test results.
