A Plastic Amniotomy Hook

A plastic amniotomy hook is a medical instrument used in obstetrics during a procedure called amniotomy. It is used to make a small hole in the amniotic sac to allow the release of amniotic fluid, which helps to induce labor or speed up the progression of labor in pregnant women. The amniotic membrane perforator is made of  medical plastic and is designed to carefully separate the amniotic sac from the cervix.
